Foundations of Water Education Workshop

Description

It’s time for some water education! Spend a morning doing hands-on learning while gaining access to world class water education and training materials. This workshop is free and open to all teachers and informal educators working with students 2nd grade and up.

Date: November 15, 2025

Time: 9:00 am-12:00 pm 

(pastries, coffee, and snacks will be provided)

Where: Santa Fe Watershed Association office, 1413 Second St, Suite 3, Santa Fe, NM 87505

NM STEM Ready science standards that will be addressed: 2-ESS2-2 * 2_ESS2-3 * 2-PS1- 4 * 3-5-ETS1-1 * 4-ESS2-2 * 5-ESS2-1 * 5-ESS2-2 * 5-ESS3-1 * MS-ESS2-4 * MS-ESS3-3 (please note that activities in the activity guide address additional standards)

Participants will receive the Foundations of Water Education with 12 lessons and a $50 stipend.

When signing up, please be mindful that a lot of preparation goes into planning and carrying out the workshop. Once you register, if you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know as soon as you can. We want to make sure we have enough materials and food for everyone without being wasteful.
