Description: Two Bio-retention basins were constructed together and designed to capture stormwater along an easement running parallel to Arroyo Chamisos. The engineered subgrade was designed to capture, filter, and increase infiltration of stormwater runoff. Native vegetation was planted in and around the basins to help absorb and filter stormwater pollutants.  The design volume for this installation is 10,700 gallons per year of stormwater based on its design volume.
