From 10am to 12pm on Saturday, June 16, join us for the Santa Fe River Summer Clean & Green! As always, our summer cleanup gives volunteers the opportunity to remove litter in and along the Santa Fe River. This year, however, interested volunteers can also improve our river habitat by thinning overgrown willows, elms, and brush between St. Francis and Defouri Bridge.

If you would like to be a part of our river ‘greening’ please join us for an information session on Thursday, June 7 from 5:30-6:30pm at Montano Park, between Alto Street (across from the Boys and Girls Club).

‘Cleaning’ volunteers will meet at SFWA’s table in Alto Park (under the trees near the tennis courts) and ‘Greening’ volunteers will meet at SFWA’s table at Montano Park on the day of the event (June 16 from 10am-12pm).
